Szigetingy: An interdisciplinary creative project exploring presence, beauty, nature, art, philosophy and the inner life.
I believe that every genuine work of art begins with attention. Before we create, we must first learn to see, to listen, and to be fully present.
Through both my paintings and my writing, I hope to invite people into that experience of presence. I want them to rediscover the quiet that still exists beneath the noise of everyday life, the light that gives meaning, and the beauty that helps us understand the world a little more deeply.
I don't believe that art exists to impress us. I believe it exists to reconnect us – with nature, with one another, and with ourselves.
If someone walks away from my work carrying a little more peace, a little more wonder, and a deeper sense of connection, then I feel grateful. That is all I could hope for.
